When Do I Apply For My Maid’s Home Leave Application?
This short break to see her family and settle home matters is known as “Home Leave” and is typically 2 weeks (14 days) for each completed contract in Singapore.
What To Prepare for Home Leave (Overseas Leave) Application and Process?

Ensure that your helper has a valid passport for her Home Leave.

Check with her country’s Embassy on her home country’s immigration requirements

Apply for her home leave with her country’s Embassy in Singapore.

Always keep a copy of her travel ticket for her home leave (to and from Singapore)

Make sure your helper brings along her Work Permit card and passport so that she can re-enter Singapore after her Home Leave

Do note that for this home leave period: you as the employer, can get a levy waiver for the time she is away and defer her 6-monthly medical examination, if needed.
